RESOLUTION AND ORDER OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LODI DESIGNATING PRECINCTS
AND POLLING PLACES AND APPOINTING MEMBERS
OF PRECINCT BOARDS FOR THE SPECIAL REFER-
ENDUM ELECTION TO EE HELD ON TUESDAY,
AUGUST 27, 1974 AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK
TO PUBLISH LIST OF ELECTION OFFICERS AND
POLLING PLACES AND NOTICE TO FILE ARGUMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi;
(1) That for the conduct of the Special Referendum Election to be held in said
City on August 27, 1974, the City of Lodi shall be divided into eleven consoli-
dated precincts and the regular State and County election precincts into which
said City is divided for General State and County election purposes are here-
by consolidated as hereinafter provided, to wit: The precincts hereinafter
designated by numbers are the regular election precincts as now established
of record by the Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County, State of Calif-
ornia, for General State and County Election purposes in said City, and the
consolidated precincts hereinafter designated by numbers consist of one or
more of said regular election precincts so numbered and designated for General
Election purposes in said City by said Board of Supervisors of San Joaquin County,
Said consolidated precincts and the polling places therein and the election officers
appointed to conduct said election thereat shall be as follows:

(2) The Polls at said election shall be open between the hours of 7;00 o'clock a.m.
and 8: 00 o'clock p.. m. (D. S. T. ) of said day of election (except as provided in
Section 14436 of the Elections Code).
(3) The measure to be voted upon at the Special Referendum Election to be held
August 27, 1974 is as follows:
"Shall Ordinance No. 1022 of the City of Lodi entitled, 'An Ordinance
amending the Official District Map of the City of Lodi and thereby re-
zoning an approximate 47 -acre parcel located at the southwest corner
of South Ham Lane and West Lodi Avenue from R-1 to P -D (11). Planned
Development District No. 11 be adopted?"
(4) The compensation of each of the election officers hereby appointed, and in
full therefor, is hereby fixed as follows: $24. 00 to each Inspector and $21. 00 to
each Judge, and $21.00 to each Clerk.

(5) The City Clerk is hereby directed to publish in the Lodi News Sentinel,
the official newspaper of said City, in the time, form and manner required
by law, a list of election officers and polling places, and a Notice of Time
Fixed for Submitting Argument.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3946 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held
July 3, 1974 by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Hughes, Katnich, Schaffer,
and Pinkerton
