HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3929RESOLUTION NO. 3929 WHEREAS, a petition has been received by the City Council of the City of Lodi requesting said Council to reconsider the adoption of Ordinance No. 1024 entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF LODI AND THEREBY REZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 47 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOUTH HAM LANE AND WEST LODI AVENUE FROM R-1 TO PD- 11 PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 11; and WHEREAS, said petition has been certified by the City Clerk of the City of Lodi as containing sufficient signatures of qualified registered voters of the City of Lodi to require action on said ordinance by the City Council: and WHEREAS, in accordance with provisions of Section 4052 of the Elections Code of the State of California, the City Council shall either repeal Ordinance 1022 or hold an election thereon: and WHEREAS, the City Council has moved to sustain its action in adopting Ordinance No. 1022; how, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, that a special election be held on Tuesday, August 27, 1974, to vote upon the question of. Shall Ordinance 1022 of the City of Lodi entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE OFFICIAL DISTRICT MAP OF THE CITY OF LODI AND THEREBY REZONING AN APPROXIMATELY 47 ACRE PARCEL LOCATED AT THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF SOUTH HAM LANE AND WEST LODI AVENUE FROM R-1 TO PD- 11 PLANNED DEVELOPMENT DISTRICT NO. 11", be adopted? BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City of Lodi of San Joaquin County enter into an agreement with the County of San Joaquin, pursuant to the provisions of Section 22003 of the Elections Code of the State of California, providing for the furnishing by the Registration Department Page No. L of the County of San Joaquin of services, facilities and equipment in comection with said City of Lodi special election and providing that said City shall pay the County the actual cost thereof plus ten percent. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Lodi has elected to have a 3 to 1 consolidation of the precincts or a total of 11 consolidated precincts for this election. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute such agreement on behalf of the City of Lodi, San Joaquin County.
