HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3845RESOLUTION NO. 3845 WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Council did by Resolution No. 3814 effective September 5, 1973, approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi designated as ''KING VIDEOCABLE ADDITION"; and, WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on September 19, 1973, referring to said Resolution No. 3814, and the annexation of the real property described there- in; and, WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said ''King Videocable Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on October 5, 1973, and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as ''King Videocable Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District; now, therefore, follows: follows: BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Lodi as That said territory, the annexation of which is described as A Portion of the North one-half of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the existing City Limits line of the City of Lodi, said point being in the west line of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's 100 -foot wide right-of- way and the south line of Kettleman Laze (State Highway Route No. 12); thence along said City Limits line and south line of Kettleman Lane the following four (4) courses: 3845 (1) South 890 04' 35'' East, 99. 56 feet; (2) North 85 ' 11' 39" East, 299.36 feet; (3) North 84° 03' 17" East, 500. 90 feet; and (4) North 87' 37' 16" East, 55. 24 feet to the westerly right-of-way line of 40 -foot wide Stockton Street; thence along said westerly right-of-way line and City limits line the following three (3) courses: (1) southerly, 226. 25 feet; (2) westerly, 20. 02 feet; and (3) southerly, parallel with and 20 feet westerly of (measured at right angles), said westerly right-of-way of Stockton Street, a distance of 125. 89 feet to intersection with the westerly production of the south line of that certain 1, 85 acre parcel shown on map of survey filed in Book of Surveys, Volume 21, page 33, San Joaquin County Records; thence North 87* 06' East along said westerly production 60. 06 feet to a point in the easterly right-of-way line of Stockton Street; thence southerly, along said easterly line, 901 feet, more or less, to its intersection with the easterly production of the south line of "Melhaff Addition" as annexed to the City of Lodi by Resolution No. 2962; thence westerly along said easterly production to the southeast corner of said "Melhaff Addition"; thence northerly along the east line of said "Melhaff Addition", being the west line of Stockton Street, 709. 50 feet; thence westerly along the north line of said "Melhaff Addition", 975. 61 feet, more or less, to the east line of "Lowes Addition" as annexed to City of Lodi by Ordina'n"cb No. 467; thence northerly, along said east line, said line being also the west line of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's 100 -foot wide right -6f -way, to the point of beginning. Containing 11 acres, more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 3814, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection D is trict.
