HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3820RESOLUTION�C). 3820 A WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CIT Y OF LOD! FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL CObNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Council did by Resolution No. 3795 effective July 11, 1973, approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi designated as "Guthmiller Addition"; and, WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on July 31, 1973, referring to said Resolution No. 3795, and the annexation of the real property described therein; and, WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said "Guthmiller Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on August 9, 1973; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as "Guthmiller Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED .BY. the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows: Portions,of the south one-half of Section 12 and the north one-half of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the existing City Limits line of the City of Lodi, said point bears North 0® 061 West, 25, 03 feet and North 87' 061 East, 20. 02 feet from the north quarter corner of said Section 13, and being in Kettleman Lane (State Highway Route No. 12); thence South 87' 06, West along said City Limits line, 98Z. 54 feet to intersection with the west line of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's 100 foot wide right of way; thence southerly along said west line, being along said City Limits I ine, a distance of 150.71 feet to the south line' of aforesaid Kettleman Lane; thence leaving said City Limits line, and along said south line of Kettleman Lane the following four (4) courses-, (1) South 89' 041 35" East, 99. 56 feet; (2) North 85' 1 P 39" East, Z99, 36 feet; (3) North 84® 031 1711 East, 5008 90 feet; and (4) North 87' 371 1611 East., 55,24 feet to the westerly right of way line of 40 foot wide Stockton Street, thence along said westerly right of way line the following three (3) courses: (1) southerly, 226.25 feet; (2) w-esterly, 20. 02 feet; and (3) southerly ,,..,,parallel with and 20 feet westerly of (measured at right angl'es) said westerly right of way of Stockton Street, a distance of 125.89 feet to intersection with the, westerly production of the south line of that certain 1.85 acre parcel shown on map of survey filed in Book of Surveys, Volume 2 1, page 33, San Joaquin County records; thence North 87* 061 East along said westerly production and south line, 310. 05 feet to the southeast corner of said 1.85 acre parcel; thence North 0® 06, West along the east line of said 1. 85 acre parcel, 367. 16 feet to the northeast corner thereof on the south right of way line of afore- said Kettleman Lane; thence easterly along the south line of said Kettleman Lane, a distance of 37 1. 87 feet to beginning of curve; thence continuing along said south right of way line on a curve to the left, having a radius of 5, 892. 19 feet, an arc distance of 223. 56 feet to a point that bears South 87' 061 West, 65 feet from the west line of the east one-half of Lot 10 of A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 13, T. 3N. , R. 6 E. , M. D. B. & M. (the map or plat of which is filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, Volume 2, page 4, San Joaquin County Records), said point being on aforesaid City Limits line; thence along said City Limits line the following five (5) courses: (1) North, 100. 89 feet; (2) South 87' 06' West, 785. 34 feet; (3) South 00 061 East, 200.03 feet; (4) South 87' 061 West, 60 feet; and (5) North 0' 06' West, 200.03 feet to the point of beginning. Containing 7. 39 acres, more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 3795, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
