A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "KING ViDEOCABLE
ADDITION" TO THE CITY OF LODI.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by all of the owners of certain uninhabited
territory, hereinafter more particularly described, was presented to the City of
Lodi which petition did request annexation of said territory to the City of Lodi; and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the San Joaquin County Local
Agency Formation Commission for their approval and the approval of that body
was given at its meeting held on July 20, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission
granted the City of Lodi power to waive notice and hearing on the proposed
annexation pursuant to the provisions of Section 54797. 1 of the Government Code;
and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the City of
Lodi at regular meeting held on September 5, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council, of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing state-
ments to be true and correct; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi,
and that the sane is uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby
approve the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory hereinafter described and
does hereby further resolve that said territory be and the same is hereby annexed
to the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows:
A portion of the North one-half of Section 13, Township 3 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a paint in the existing City Limits line of the City of
Lodi, said point being in the west line of Southern Pacific Transportation
Company's 100 -foot wide right-of-way and the south line of Kettleman
Lane (State Highway Route No. 12); thence along said City Limits line
and south line of Kettlernan Lane the following four (4) courses:
(1) South 89° 04' 35" East, 99. 56 feet; (2) North 85' I1' 39" East,
299. 36 feet; (3) North 84° 03' 17" East, 500. 90 feet; and (4) North 87'
37' 16" East, 55.24 feet to the westerly right-of-way line of 40 -foot
wide Stockton Street; thence along said westerly right-of-way line and
City Lirnits line the following three (3) courses: (1) southerly, 226.25
feet; (2) westerly, 20.02 14V; and (3) southerly, parallel with and 20
feet westerly of (measured at right angles), said westerly right-of-way
of Stockton Street, a distance of 125.89 feet to intersection with the
westerly production of the south line of that certain 1.85 acre parcel
shown on map of survey filed in Book of Surveys, Volume 21, page 33,
San Joaquin County Records; thence North 87' 06East along said
westerly production 60.06 feet to a point in the easterly right-of-way
line of Stockton Street; thence southerly along said easterly line, 901
feet, more or less, to its intersection with the easterly production of
the south line of "Melhaff Addition" as annexed to the City of Lodi by
Resolution No. 2962; thence westerly along said easterly production to
the southeast corner of said "Melhaff Addition"; thence northerly along
the east line of said "Melhaff Addition, " being the west line of Stockton
Street, 709.50 feet.; thence westerly along the north line of said
"Nleinaff Addition, " 975,61 feet, more or less, to the east line of
"Lowes Addition" as annexed to City of Lodi by Ordinance No. 467;
thence northerly, along said east line, said line being also the west
line of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's 100 -foot wide
right-of-way, to the point of beginning.
Containing 11 acres, more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions of annexation
are none.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3814 was passed and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held
September 5; 1973, by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Katnich and Pinkerton
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - Schaffer and Hughes
