RF-9`6LUTION NO. 3807
A RESOLUTION .APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CER 1AIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, .DESIGNATED "UNITED VINTNERS
ADDITION" TO THE CITY OF LODI,
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory .Act of 1939, a. petition signed by all of the owners of certain uninhabited
territory, hereinafter more particularly described, was presented to the City of
Lodi, which petition did request annexation of said territory to the City of Lodi;
and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the San Joaquin County Local
Agency Formation Commission for their approval and the approval of that body was
given at its meeting held, on July Z0, 1873; and,
WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission
granted the City of Lodz power to waive notice and hearing on the proposed annex-
ation pursuant to the provisions of Section. 54797. 1 of the Government Cade; and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the City of
Lodi at a regular meeting held August 15, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing statements
to be true and correct, that said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi, and that
the same is uninhabited territory in the County of San Joaquin;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve
the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory hereinafter described and does
hereby further resolve that said territory be and the same is hereby annexed to the
City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows:
A portion of the south half of Section 36, Township 4 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, San Joaquin County,
California, being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the southwest cornier of that land annexed to the
City of Lodi as the "Mok-Aloha Addition" described in City of Lodi
Resolution No. 3380, said point being 64.75 feet north of, as measured
perpendicularly to the south line of said Section 36, and 100 feet east
of, as measured perpendicularly to the centerline of Southern Pacific
Company's main track; thence northerly along the west line of said
"Mok-Aloha Addition" (said line being also a City Limit line), parallel
with and 100 feet east of as measured radially from said centerline of
Southern Pacific Company's main track, to a point in the south line of

the 10 -foot strip of land deeded to La J. Loveless and recorded May 9,
1927 in Volume 189, page 119, ,San Joaquin County Records; thence
westerly along said south line to a oint 50 feet east of as meas€ired
radially from said centerline of ,Soudiern Pacific Company's main track;
thence northerly, parallel with and 50 feet east of as measured radially
from said centerline, to intersection with the south bank of the Mokelumne
River; thence westerly downstream along said south bank, to intersection
with the east line of the land annexed to the City of Lodi as "Lodi R.ivergate
Addition" described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 3514; thence South 1° 57'
West, along the east line of said "Lodi Riverga.te Addition" (said line being
also a City Limit line), 1064. 93 feet to a point in the north line of Turner
Road, said point being also in the north line of "South Sanguinetti Addition"
as described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 2793; thence west along said
north lire (said line being also a City Limit .tine), 500. 96 feet to its inter-
section with the westerly line of the 100 -foot right-of-way of the Southern
Pacific Railroad Company; thence northerly along the westerly line of
said .railroad right-of-way, on a curve concave to the west having a radius
of 5679. 6 feet, through an angle of 0° 09`, a distance of 15. 03 feet to the
northwest corner of the parcel of land described in Agreement with the
City of Lodi recorded in Book .2334, page 42 1, Official Records of San
Joaquin County; thence east and parallel with the south line of said
Section 3n, a distance; of 100.2 feet to the easterly line of said Railroad
right-of-way; thence northerly along the easterly line of said Railroad
right-of-way, along a curve concave to the west having a radius of
5779, 6 feat, through an angle of 0° 09', a, distance of 15. 03 feet; thence
North 88' 35' East, 64.75 feet north of, measured perpendicularly to the
south line of ,said Section 36, a distance of 50 feet to the point of
beginning.
Containing 16 acres, more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions of annexation are
none.

City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held August 15, 1973,
by the followiiig vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Katnich, Pinkerton, Schaffer
and Hughes
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
