A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "GUTHM:ILLER ADDITION"
TO THE CITY OF LODI.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited
Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by all of the owners of certain uninhabited
territory, hereinafter more particularly described, was presented to the Gity of Lodi,
which petition did request annexation of said territory to the City of Lodi; and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the San Joaquin County Local Agency
Formation Commission for their approval and the approval of that body was given at
its meeting held on April 23, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission
granted the City of Lodi power to waive notice and hearing on the proposed annex-
ation pursuant to the provisions of Section 54797. 1 of the Government Code; and,
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the City of Lodi
at a regular meeting held July 11, 1973; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing statements
to be true and correct; that said territory is contiguous to the City of Lodi, and that
the same is uninhabited territory ixi tine County of San Joaquin;
NOW, THEREFORE, the Gity Council of the City of Lodi does hereby approve
the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory hereinafter described and does
hereby further resolve that said territory be and the same is hereby annexed to
the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows:
Portions of the south one• -half of Section 12 and the north one-half
of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and
Meridian, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the existing City Limits line of the Gity of
Lodi, said point bears North 0' 06' West, 25.03 feet and North 87' 061
East, 20.02 feet from the north quarter corner•of said Section 13, and
being in Kettleman Lane (State Highway Route No. 12); thence South
87' 06' West along said City Limits line, 982.54 feet to intersection
with the west line of Southern Pacific Transportation Company's 100
foot wide right of way; thence southerly along said west line, being
along said City Limits line, a distance of 150.71 feet to the south line
of aforesaid Kettleman Lane; thence leaving said Gity Limits line, and
along said south line of Kettleman Lane the following four (4) courses:

(1) South 89° 04' 35" East, 99.56 feet; (2) North 85° 11' 39" East,
299.36 feet; (3) North 84' 03' 17" East, 500. 90 feet; and (4) North
874 37' 16" East, 55.24 feet to the westerly right of way line of
40 foot wide Stockton Street; thence along said westerly right of way
line the following three (3) courses; (I) southerly, 226.25 feet;
(2) westerly, 20.02 feet; and (3) southerly, parallei with and 20
feet westerly of (measured at right angles) said westerly right of
way of Stockton Street, a distance of 125.89 feet to intersection with the
westerly production of the south line of that certain 1.85 acre parcel
shown on map of survey filed in Book of Surveys, Volume 21, page 33,
San Joaquin County records; thence North 87° 06' East along said
westerly production and south line, 310.05 feet to the southeast
corner of said 1.85 acre parcel; thence North. 0° 06° West along the
east line of said 1.85 acre parcel, 367. 16 feet to the northeast corner
thereof on the south right of way line of aforesaid Kettleman Lane;
thence easterly along the south line of said Kettleman Lane, a distance
of 371,87 feet to beginning of curve; thence continuing along said south
right of way line on a curve to the left, having a radius of 5, 892. 19
feet, an arc distance of 223. 56 feet to a point that bears South 87° 06'
West, 65 feet from the west line of the east one-half of Lot 10 of
A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION OF SECTION 13, T. 3N., R. 6 E.,
M. D. 13. & M., (the map or plat of which is filed in Book of Official
Maps and Plats. Volume 2., page 4, San Joaquin County Records), said
point being an aforesaid City Limits line; thence along said City Limits
line the following five (5) courses: (1) North, 100,89 feet; (2) South
87° 06' West, 785.34 feet; (3) South 0° 06' East, 200. 03 feet; (4) South
87° 06' West, 60 feet; and (5) North 0° 06' West, 200.03 feet to the point
of beginning.
Containing 7.39 acres, more or less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the terms and conditions of annexation are
none.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3795 was passed and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Lodi in an adjourned regular meeting held
July 11, 1973, by the following vote:
Ayes; Councilmen - Ehrhardt, Katnich, Schaffer and
Pinkerton

Absent. Councilmen - Hughes
