RESOLUTION NO. 3699
AWARD - TRANSFORMERS
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with
law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and
publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on November 13, 1972 for the
furnishing of 12-kv and 6. 9-kv Transformers as described in the specifications
therefor approved by the City Council on October 25, 1972; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked and tabulated and
a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made to two
separate bidders, based on the low bid and best delivery time, as follows:
Maydwell & Hartzell - 12/6. 9 kv - L40/120 -volt transformers - $33,707. 10
R -T -E Corporation - 12-kv 240/120 -volt transformers - $6,701.10
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council. of the
City of Lodi that award of contrackfor the furnishing of the 12-kv and 6. 9-kv
transformers be and the same are• hereby made to Maydwell & Hartzell (12/6. 9 kv
240/120 -volt transformers) for a total of $33,707. 10 and to R -T -E Corporation
(12-kv 2.40/120 -volt transformers) for a total of $6,701. 10.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3699 was passed and
adopted bythe City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
of the City Council held November 15, 1972 bythe following vote:

Noes: Councilmen - None
