HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3684.. r RESOLUTION NO. 3684 WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT. WHEREAS, the City Council did by Resolution No. 3669 effective September 6, 1972, approve the annexation of that certain real property. contiguous to the City of Lodi designated as "Goehring Addition"; and, WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate of the Secretary of State of the State of California. executed by said Secretary of State on September 11, 1972, referring to said Resolution No. 3669, and the annexation of the real property described therein; and, WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said "Goehring Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on September ZZ, 1972; and, WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as "Goehring Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District; now. therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows; That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows: A portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the point of intersection of the South line of said Northwest Quarter with the East right-of-way line of HUTCHINS STREET (1 10 feetwide). formerly known as West Lane; thence northerly, along said East right-of-way line of HUTCHINS STREET, 495. 53 feet to a point in the South line of that certain 5 -acre tract of land described in Deed to Eden E. Goehring, et ux, recorded in Volume 3242, page 26, Book of Official Records of San Joaquin County, said point being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, and also being in the existing City limit line as described by City of Lodi Ordinance No. 924, "ROBBY'S ADDITION, " adopted March 18, 1970; thence easterly along said South line a distance of 532.49 feet: thence leaving said existing City limit line, continue easterly along the South line of said Goehring property and its easterly extension 2 10.05 feet to the East right-of-way line of CHURCH STREET (40 feet wide); thence N. 87' 40' 00" E. , along the North line of that parcel of land shown on Map of Survey filed for record June 9, 1967, in Book 16, of Surveys. at page 67, San Joaquin County Records, 758.80 feet to a point in the West line of the - 1- 3 ��i -7 Southern Pacific Railroad 100 -foot -wide right-of-way, said point being N. 3' 54' 00" E., 502.92 feet from the intersection of said West line with the South line of the Northwest quarter of said Section 13; thence northerly along said West line, 558.36 feet to the Southeast corner of "LOWE'S ADDITION" as described by City of Lodi Ordinance No. 467, adopted October 22, 1952; thence West along the South line of said "LOWE'S ADDITION" being existing City Limit Line, 797.28 feet to the Southwest corner of said ''LOWE'S ADDITION, " said point being also the Southeast corner of the "CHURCH STREET ADDITION" as described by City of Lodi Ordinance No. 666, adopted February 24, 1960; thence continuing westerly, along the South line of said "CHURCH STREET ADDITION" being existing City Limit Line, 182.00 feet; thence northerly, along said City Limit Line, 273. 00 feet; thence westerly, along said City Limit Line, 520.00 feet to a point in the East right- of-way line of HU TCHINS STREET (1 10 feet wide), said point being also in the East line of "J. C. BECKMAN ADDITION" as described by City of Lodi Ordinance No. 901, adopted July 2, 1969, being existing City Limit Line; thence southerly, along said City Limit Line, 826.67 feet to the true point of beginning, the area thus des- cribed, containing 23. 08 acres more or less. annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 3669, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the GVoodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
