RESOLUTION NO, 3664
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING A SPECIFIC PLAN FOR
TOKAY STREET BETWEEN SOUTH FAIRMONT AVENUE
AND VIRGINIA AVENUE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi has established a
general plan pursuant to Government Code Section 65300,
et. seq. ; and,
WHEREAS, specific plans have been studied and after public hearing
recommendations have been made for the adoption of the
specific plans pursuant to Government Code Section 65450,
and specifically Section 65451(a) authorizing "regulations
limiting the location of buildings and other improvements
witn respect to existing or planned rights-of-way;" and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi, after notice given
pursuant to law, has held a public hearing at which
discussions were had regarding the suggested location
of building setback lines on the future streets hereinafter
described; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds that at the
present time it is deemed advisable and in the best
interest of the public health and safety of the citizens
of Lodi and in order to establish a guideline for the
future orderly development of the property lying within
the general plan of the City of Lodi, that the hereinafter
established building setback lines be recommended when
future development of the property adjacent to said setback
lines is applied for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Councii of the City
of Lodi, that building setback lines be established for Tokay Street between
South Fairmont Avenue and Virginia Avenue, which building setback lines
are more specifically set forth on drawing number 72D74 and which drawing
is dated and is on file in the Office of the Public Works Director, City Hall,
Lodi, California, reference to which is hereby made.

adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in regular meeting held
August 16, 1972, by the following vote:
