HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 3567IF RESOLUTION NO. 3567 WITHDRAWING CERTAIN PROPERTY ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LODI FROM THE WOODBRIDGE RURAL COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT WHEREAS, this City Council did by Resolution No. 3556 effective Octooer 20, 1971, approve the annexation of that certain real property, contiguous to the City of Lodi, designated as "Tindell Addition"; and WHEREAS, there is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi the Certificate oz the Secretary of State of the State of California, executed by said Secretary of State on October 28, 1971, referring to said Resolution No. 3556, and the annexation of the real property described therein; and WHEREAS, the affidavit of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi certifying to the annexation of said "Tindell Addition" in accordance with law was filed with the County Recorder of San Joaquin County on November 8, 1971; and WHEREAS, it is the desire of this City Council that that portion of said property designated as "Tindell Addition" which lies within the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District be withdrawn from said District; now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as follows: That that certain real property lying within the said "Tindell Addition" and particularly described as follows, to wit: A portion of the East one-half of Section 3, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more par- ticularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the ''St. Peter's Lutheran Addition" as described in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 826, being the north- west corner of ALLEN MANOR (the map or plat of which is filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, Volume 18, page 42, San Joaquin County Records); thence North along the East line of Lower Sacramento Road (80 feet wide), 1193 feet, to a point bearing Southerly 176 feet from the Northwest corner of that certain 1 -acre tract of land described in the deed to Everts F. Mills, dated March 29, 1918, recorded January 8, 1919 in Book "A" of Deeds, Volume 355, page 126, San Joaquin County Records; 3se-7 7 thence Easterly, parallel to the North line of said Southeast Quarter, 1074. 11 feet to a point on the West line of the parcel of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Mills Estate Addition" as described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 2970; thence South along the west line of said "Mills Estate Addition", 388. 16 feet to the Southwest corner of said "Mills Estate Addition"; thence East along the South line of said "Mills Estate Addition", 193.47 feet to the Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Knight Addition" as described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 2708; thence South along the West line of said "Knight Addition", 807 feet to the Northeast corner of aforesaid "St. Peter's Lutheran Addition"; thence West along the North line of said "St. Peter's Lutheran Addition", being along the North line of aforesaid ALLEN MANOR, a distance of 1278.53 feet to the point of beginning, the area thus described containing 33.25 acres, more or less. Annexed to the City of Lodi by Council Resolution No. 3556, be and it is hereby declared to be withdrawn from the Woodbridge Rural County Fire Protection District.
