A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "TINDELL ADDITION"
TO THE CITY OF LODI.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Unin-
habited Territory Act of 1939 a petition signed by all of the owners of
certain uninhabited territory, hereinafter more particularly described,
was presented to the City of Lodi which petition did request annexation
of said territory to the City of Lodi; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the San Joaquin County
Local Agency Formation Commission for their approval and the approval
of that body was given at its meeting held on September 17, 1971; and
WHEREAS, the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Com-
mission granted the City of Lodi power to waive notice and hearing on
the proposed annexation pursuant to the provisions of Section 54797. 1
of the Government Code; and
WHEREAS, said petition was presented to the City Council of the
City of Lodi at its regular meeting held on October 20, 1971; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi finds the foregoing
statements to be true and correct; that said territory is contiguous to
the City of Lodi, and that the same is uninhabited territory in the County
of San Joaquin;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lodi does
hereby approve the annexation to the City of Lodi of the territory. herein-
after described and does hereby further resolve that said territory be
and the same is hereby annexed to the City of Lodi.
That said territory, the annexation of which is described as follows:
A portion of the East one-half of Section 3, Township 3 North,
Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, and more particu-
larly described as follows:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the parcel of land
annexed to the City of Lodi as the ''St. Peter's Lutheran
Addition" as described in City of Lodi Ordinance No. 826, being
the northwest corner of ALLEN MANOR (the map or plat of which
is filed in Book of Official Maps and Plats, Volume 18, page 42,
San Joaquin County Records); thence North along the East line
of Lower Sacramento Road (80 feet wide), 1193 feet, to a point
bearing Southerly 176 feet from the Northwest corner of that
certain I -acre tract of land described in the deed to Everts F.
Mills, dated March 29, 1918, recorded January 8, 1919 in Book
"A" of Deeds, Volume 355, page 126, San Joaquin County Records;
thence Easterly, parallel to the North line of said Southeast
Quarter, 1074. 11 feet to a point on the West line of the parcel
of land annexed to the City of Lodi as the "Mills Estate Addition"
as described in City of Lodi Resolution No. 2970; thence South
along the west line of said "Mills Estate Addition", 388. 16 feet
to the Southwest corner of said "Mills Estate Addition"; thence
East along the South line of said "Mills Estate Addition", 193.47
feet to the Northwest corner of the parcel of land annexed to the
City of Lodi as the "Knight Addition" as described in City of Lodi
Resolution No. 2708; thence South along the West line of said
"Knight Addition", 807 feet to the Northeast corner of aforesaid
"St. Peter's Lutheran Addition"; thence West along the North line
of said "St. Peter's Lutheran Addition". being along the North
line of aforesaid ALLEN MANOR. a distance of 1278.53 feet
to the point of beginning, the area thus described containing 33.25
acres, more or less.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 3556 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held October 20, 1971.
