HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2004-33WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council sealed bids were received and publicly opened on February 18, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. for 384 wafthour meters described in the specifications therefore approved by the City Council on February 4, 2004; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Meters w/ AMR* Meters w/o AM Sensus, c/o Yoj-n—g& Co., Oakland $16,964.16 $5,999052 General Pacific, Portland, OR $17,584.80 $6:796,01 Ingalls Power Products, Benicia No bid $6,487.76 *Automatic meter reading (AMR) communications modules. WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for 384 wafthour meters be made to the low bidder, Sensus Metering Systems, c/o Young & Company, of Oakland, California, in the amount of $22,963.68. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that the award of the bid for 384 watthour meters be and the same is hereby awarded to the low bidder, Sensus Metering Systems, c/o Young & Company, of Oakland, CA, in the amount of $22,963.68.
