HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2004-24WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on February 4, 2004, at 11:00 a.m, for the City of Lodi/Lodi Unified School District (LUSD) Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Station Construction described in the specifications therefore approved by the City Council on August 20, 2003, and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: 910—or Locatign mitt! Performan . ce Mechanical, Inc. Sacramento $ 2569647.00 Allsup Corporation Upland, CA $ 300,497.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for the City of Lodi/LUSD CNG Fueling Station Construction be made to the low bidder, Performance Mechanical, Inc., of Sacramento, California. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council hereby awards the bid for the City of Lodi/CUSP CNG Fueling Station Construction with Performance Mechanical, Inc., of Sacramento, California, in the amount of $256,647.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to execute the contract for this project on behalf of the City of Lodi; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds in the amount of $315.,312-00 be appropriated from the Transit Fund 1250 for this project upon receipt of a written funding commitment from LUSD.
