RECOMMENDED ACTION: That Mayor Land present a proclamation proclaiming February 23, 1999 as "Spay
Day USA" in the City of Lodi.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Mayor has been requested to present a proclamation proclaiming
February 23, 1999 as "Spay Day USA" in the City of Lodi. Patricia Sherman,
President, Animal Friends Connection, will be present to accept the
proclamation.
FUNDING: None required.

Central California Labrador Retriever Rescue is an all volunteer, non profit rescue covering the
Greater Sacramento Area, South to Merced. We find new homes for Labrador Retrievers
whose owners can no longer keep them, but our main focus is to re -home Shelter Labs. We
cover, at present 13 kill Shelters up and down the Valley.
