N # r. w WHEREAS, the Engineering Division of the Electric Utility Department is preparing work orders for installation of electrical service in the Vintner's Square commercial development and the Legacy Estates subdivision; and WHEREAS, Vintner's Square is expected to require four vault sets (vaults, risers, and covers), two in the shopping center and two in the residential development, while Legacy Estates is expected to require four; and WHEREAS, two manufacturers of concrete vaults have been approved by the Electric Utility Department and are expected to submit bids on these precast structures, Jensen Precast, of Sacramento, and Oldcastle Materials' Utility Vault Division, of Pleasanton. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve the specifications and authorize advertisement for bids for the underground utility vaults and accessories, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to accept or reject all bids and award the bid not to exceed $14,000 for the purchase of the following concrete underground utility vaults, extension risers, vault covers, and sealant: 6 each 4'8" x 4'8" x 3'8" concrete vault, Lodi Spec 922 5679 8 each 4'8" x 4'8" x 6" extension ring (riser), Lodi Spec 922 5630 8 each hinged cover for 4'8" x4'8" vault, Lodi Spec 922 5681 24 rolls butyl sealant for precast structures Dated: October 6, 2004 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 2004-195 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held October 6, 2004, by the fallowing vote: .AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Beckman, Hitchcock, and Howard ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Land and Mayor Hansen SUSAN J.
