HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2004-185WHEREAS, the people of the State of California have enacted the CALIFORNIA CLEAN WATE R, CLEAN AIR, SAFE NEIGHBORHOOD PARKS, AND COASTAL PROTECTION ACT OF 2002, which provides funds to the State of California for grants to eligible Applicants; and WHEREAS, the California Department of Parks and Recreation has beeM i1elegated the responsibility for the administration of the State Urban Parks and Healt0i Communities Program and the grant Project shown above within the State, setting necessary procedures; and I WHEREAS, the Applicant will enter into a Contract with the State of California for the Project. I Approve the filing of an Application for local assistance funds from the State Urban. Parks and Healthy Communities Program under the California Clean Water, Clean Air, Safe Neighborhood Parks, and Coastal Protection Act of 2002; and 2. Certify that the Applicant has or will have sufficient funds to operate and maintain the Project; and Z 2011211PAWOUTMORM IMMIA 4. Certify that the Grantee has or will have available, prior to commencement of any work on the Project, the required Match; 5. Certify that the Project conforms to the recreation element of any applicable city or county general plan; and 6. Appoint the Parks and Recreation Director as agent to conduct all negotiations and submit all documents including, but not limited to, applications, agreements, payment requests, and so on, which may be necessary for the completion of the Project. 7. Authorize and direct the City Manager to exeoute all necessary applications, agreements, and payment requests on behalf of the City of Lodi.
