HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2003-125RESOLUTION NO. 2003-125 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE BID FOR FIRE STATION #1 HVAC DESIGN/BUILD PROJECT, 210 WEST ELM STREET, AND FURTHER APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THIS PROJECT WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on July 2, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. for Fire Station #1 HVAC Design/Build Project, 210 West Elm Street, described in the specifications therefore approved by the City Council on March 19, 2003; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Engineer's Estimate Air Systems Lodi Services Heat & Cooling Location Sacramento Lodi Base Bid $ 96,825.00 $105,200.00 Alt #1 $ 4,000.00 $ 28,965.00 Bid Total $ 70,000.00 $100,825.00 $134,165.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for Fire Station #1 HVAC Design/Build Project, 210 West Elm Street, be made to the low bidder, Air Systems, of Sacramento, California, in the amount of $100,825.00. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council does hereby award the bid for Fire Station #1 HVAC Design/Build Project, 210 West Elm Street, be made to the low bidder, Air Systems, of Sacramento, California, in the amount of $100,825.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funds in the amount of $110,000.00 be appropriated from the General Capital Outlay Fund for this project.
