A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE BID FOR
THE WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY
AERATION BLOWER REPLACEMENT, FURTHER AUTHORIZING AND
APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THIS PROJECT
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this
City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on May 6, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. for the
White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Aeration Blower Replacement, described in the
specifications therefore approved by the City Council on April 16, 2003; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof
filed with the City Manager as follows:
Bidder Bid
Hibon, Inc., Quebec, Canada $222,000.00
Spencer Turbine Company, Windsor, Connecticut $253,620.00
Zisko & Assoc. (Hoffman Air), Auburn, CA $292,425.00
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends award of the bid for the White Slough Water
Pollution Control Facility Aeration Blower Replacement, be made to the low bidder, Hibon, Inc., of
Quebec, Canada; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager further recommends authorizing the use of Public Benefit
Funds for this project, and further recommends appropriating funds for this project as follows:
Wastewater Capital Fund $222,000.00
Public Benefit Programs Funds $ 20,000.00
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council does hereby award the
bid for White Slough Water Pollution Control Facility Aeration Blower Replacement, to the low
bidder, Hibon, Inc., of Quebec, Canada in the amount of $222,000.00;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds be authorized and appropriated as listed above.

the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held May 21, 2003, by the following vote:
