HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2002-154RESOLUTION NO. 2002-154 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL REALLOCATING UNUSED COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FROM VARIOUS COMPLETED OR CANCELED PROJECTS TO ACTIVE PROJECTS WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi has been made aware of the need to reallocate unused Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME funds from previous years to facilitate the expedited use of those funds; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve the reallocation of $9,782.86 in CDBG funds from the City Park ADA Improvement Project No. 97-1.1 to the Hale Park Court Resurfacing Project No. 99-05; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve the reallocation of a total of $37,313.21 in CDBG funds from the following projects, $34,124.00 from Fagade Assistance Program Project No. 99-14, and $3,189.21 from Van Buskirk Park Remodel Project No. 97-16, to the Armory Park ADA Bleacher Project No. 01-03; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council approve the reallocation of a total of $73,154.00 in CDBG funds from the following projects, $58,980.00 from Facade Assistance Program Project No. 99-14, $71.00 from the Lodi Lake Beach Feature Project No. 97-1.3, and $14,103.00 from the Blakely Park Improvement Project No. 97-1.6, to the Eastside Park Improvement - Lawrence Park Playground Project No. 99-04. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Lodi does hereby recommend the aforementioned reallocations of CDBG funds to the Hale Park Court Resurfacing Project, the Armory Park ADA Bleacher Project, and the Eastside Park Improvement - Lawrence Park Playground Project.
