RESOLUTION NO. 80-84
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE AN EASEMENT LOCATED
AT 488 E. KETTLEMAN LANE, LODI, CA.
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lodi as
follows:
It is the intention of the City Council of the City of
Lodi, acting .in accordance with the provisions of Section 50430
et seq. of the Government Code of the State of California, to vacate
and abandon certain public service easement located at 488 E.
Kettleman, Lodi and more particularly described as follows:
The West 5.00 feet of the following described property:
A portion of Lot 1 of A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the
Northeast quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range
6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, as per Map filed
November 7, 1890, in Volume 2 of Maps and Plats, page 4,
San Joaquin County Records, and more particularly described
as follows, to -wit:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Lot 1, of
A. J. LARSON'S SUBDIVISION of the Northeast quarter of
Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, and run thence
North 860 311�' East along the South line of Lot 1, a distance
of 392.125 feet to the point of beginning of the property
hereinafter described:
Thence North 441 feet, more or less, to a point in the
center of Kettleman Lane, which point bears North 860 31'
East 392.125 feet from the Northwest corner of Lot 1 where
same intersects the center line of Kettleman Lane; thence
North 86 31' East along the center of Kettleman Lane,
192.125 feet to the Northwest corner of property described
in deed to Donald P. Roth, recorded January 14, 1949,
Recorder's Document No. 1199; thence South 00 41' East
along the West line of the Roth property and the continuation
thereof, 441.06 feet to a point on the South line of said
Lot 1; thence South 860 311�' West along the South of said
Lot 1, 192.125 feet to the point of beginning.
EXCEPT the south 181.00 feet thereof.
Reference is hereby made to a map or plan on file in the
Office of the City Clerk of the City of Lodi for the particulars
as to the proposed vacation.
FURTHER RESOLVED that this City Council does hereby fix
Wednesday, August 6, 1980 at the hour of 8:00 p.m. and the City
Council Chambers, City Hall, Lodi, California as the time and place
when and where all persons interested in or objecting to the vaca-
tion herein proposed may appear before this City Council and be
heard.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director shall cause
to be posted notices of easement vacation conspicuously along the
line of the easement hereinabove described and proposed to be
vacated in the manner, form and for the length of time set forth
in Section 50441 of the Government Code of the State of California.
FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution shall be
published for at least two successive weeks prior to August 6, 1980
in the "Lodi News Sentinel", a daily newspaper of general circulation
printed and published in the City of Lodi, County of San Joaquin.

a regular meeting held July 2, 1980 by the following
vote:
