HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 80-63RESOLUTION NO. 80-63 AWARD - CONTRACT TO APPLY CLASS II SLURRY SEAL TO CITY STREETS WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on April 22, 1980 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Application of Class II Slurry Seal to City Streets as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on April 2, 1980; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabu- lated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Contractor Total S/R Total Cost California Pavement Maintenance, Co. 152,640 $ 713169.20 Sacramento, CA Valley Slurry Seal Co. Inc. 1521,640 $ 75586.21 Sacramento, CA Graham Contractors, Inc. 1523640 $145500.00 San Jose, CA WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be made to the low bidder, California Pavement Maintenance Company. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Application of Class II Slurry Seal to City Streets be and the same is hereby made to California Pavement Maintenance Company, the low bidder, in the amount of $7,169.20.
