HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 2001-250RESOLUTION NO. 2001-250 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH BLYMYER ENGINEERING FOR THE LODI UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT COMPRESSED NATURAL GAS (CNG) STATION, AND APPROPRIATE FUNDS FOR THE DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES WHEREAS, the City of Lodi sponsored a Lodi Unified School District Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality grant application to the San Joaquin Council of Governments for the design and construction of a CNG Station at 820 South Cluff Avenue and the purchase of fourteen CNG buses; and WHEREAS, the grant was awarded to the City of Lodi on behalf of Lodi Unified School District; and WHEREAS, the City of Lodi is responsible for project management on this project; and WHEREAS, the City of Lodi received three proposals for engineering services, and both the City of Lodi and Lodi Unified School District has selected Blymyer Engineering for the design and construction management of the CNG Station based on its experience. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council does hereby authorize the City Manager to execute a professional services agreement with Blymyer Engineering, of Alameda, California, for the design and construction management services; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds be appropriated as follows for this project: Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality Grant $67,300.00 Lodi Unified School District $ 8,700.00 Dated: November 7, 2001 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 2001-250 was passed and adopted by the Lodi City Council in a regular meeting held November 7, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Howard, Land, Pennino and Mayor Nakanishi NOES: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None ABSENT: COUNCIL MEMBERS — Hitchcock ABSTAIN: COUNCIL MEMBERS — None SUSAN J.
