RESOLUTION APPOINTING RONALD M. STEIN AS CITY
ATTORNEY AND FIXING RATE OF COMPENSATION.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI RESOLVES
AS FOLLOWS:
Ronald M. Stein is hereby appointed Assistant City Attorney
of the City of Lodi from July 16, 1979 to August 1, 1979 and on
August 1, 1979, he shall be the full time City Attorney.
The rate of compensation is $2, 2 50 per month, plus $12 5
per month automobile allowance and annual State and County Bar
Association dues.
In addition, the City agrees to provide the following benefits:
As City Attorney, he shall be entitled to all benefits that are now
established or that may be established for Management Personnel.
1. Public Employee's Retirement System (PERS)
2. Fully paid medical and dental insurance for the
employee and his dependents
3. Long-term disability plan
4. Life insurance amounting to 1-1/2 times the annual
salary, plus $12, 000
5. Two weeks' Executive Leave, one week of which rnay
be taken in Oay in lieu of time off.
6. Sick leave benefits of I day per month
7. Vacation - 2 weeks after the first full year of
employment
8. 2% contribution to a deferred compensation plan
9. Ten paid holidays per year

10. Annual physical examination.
11. $100, 000 - Group Travel Insurance Policy
The employee's cost for these benefits is as follows:
a) PERS - 7%
b) LTD and Life Insurance 1. 116
C) Deferred Compensation - 1176

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 79-101 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in
an adjourned regular meeting held July 3, 1979 by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Hughes, Katnich, McCarty, Pinkerton
and Katzakian
Noes: Councilmen - None
Absent: Councilmen - None
