Wednesday, November 4, 1998 Human Resources Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: To approve extention of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Lodi Police Dispatchers Association and the City of Lodi, and a 2% salary increase effective October 19, 1998. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Lodi Police Dispatchers Association bargaining unit expired the end of the pay period in which July 1, 1998, fell. Representatives of the City met and conferred with representatives of the unit to discuss salary, wages, and terms and conditions of employment of represented employees. An agreement was reached with the unit to extend the term of the MOU one more year, and a 2% salary increase effective the pay period beginning October 19, 1998. Dixon Flynn -- City anager o n Resources Director RESOLUTION NO. 98-162 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL APPROVING EXTENSION OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR THE LODI POLICE DISPATCHERS ASSOCIATION (LPDA), AND APPROVING SALARY INCREASE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve the extension of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the Lodi Police Dispatchers Association (LPDA) for a period of one year; October 19, 1998 through October 19, 1999; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council hereby approves a two percent (2%) salary increase effective the pay period beginning October 19, 1998.
