HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 79-7RESOLUTION NO. 79-7 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI DETERMINING THAT THE "PLANNING AGENCY" AS REFERRED TO IN SECTION 3H OF ORDINANCE NO. 1149 IS THE LODI CITY PLANNING COMMISSION AND THAT THAT BODY'S DECISIONS ARE APPEALABLE TO THE LODI CITY COUNCIL. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lodi, pursuant to Ordinance No. 1149 has adopted Resolution No. 78-175 declaring all school attendance areas in the Lodi Unified School District situate within the City Limits of Lodi, are overcrowded; and WHEREAS, Section 3H of Ordinance No. 1149 gives certain responsibilities to the "Planning Agency"; and WHEREAS, said City Council is desirous of defining the term "Planning Agency"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that the "Planning Agency" as referred to in Section 3H of Ordinance No. 1149 is the Lodi City Planning Commission and that that body's decisions are appealable to the Lodi City Council.
