AWARD - APPLICATION OF CLASS II SLURRY SEAL TO
CITY STREETS
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance
with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were
received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on
August 19, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Application
of Class II Slurry Seal to City Streets as described in the
specifications therefor approved by the City Council August 5,
1981; and
WHEREAS, only one bid was received, said being as follows:

California Pavement Maintenance $18,877.20
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the above bid
is a reasonable bid; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award be
made;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lodi that award of contract for Application of Class
II Slurry Seal to City Streets be made to California Pavement
Maintenance, the only bidder, in the amount of $18,877.20.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 81-118 was passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi
in an adjourned regular meeting held September 1, 1981
by the following vote:
Ayes: Councilmen - Murphy, Hughes, Pinkerton, Katnich
and McCarty
Noes: Councilmen - None
