HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 81-3RESOLUTION NO. 81-3 AWARD - CLUFF AVENUE STORM DRAIN, PHASE II WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on January 27, 1981 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Cluff Avenue Storm Drain, Phase II as described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council January 7, 1981; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabu- lated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: BIDDER BID Schedule I Schedule II Westco Construction Co., Inc. $149,968.00 $47,530.00 Claude C. Wood Co. $168,930.00 $36,241.00 David G. Newton Const. $170,516.35 $81,709.39 Teichert Construction $188,140.80 $62,313.70 A & H Underground Const. $188,779.00 $64,905.00 Granite Construction $224,339.00 $80,690.00 D.W. Young Construction Co. $243,475.00 $86,338.00 Edward J. Pestana Const. Co $307,480.00 $90,270.00 WHEREAS, -the City Manager recommends that award be made to the low bidder, Westco Construction Co., Inc.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Cluff Avenue Storm Drain, Phase II be and the same is hereby made to Westco Construc- tion Co., Inc., the low bidder, in the amount of 5149,968.00 for Schedule I, and $47,530.00 for Schedule II.
