A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH POWER ENGINEERS, INC.,
FOR THE MCLANE SUBSTATION GROUNDING
ANALYSIS AND DESIGN
WHEREAS, a portion of the McLane Substation Site was divided off some years
ago for construction of a well, and at that time a cyclone fence was installed to provide
physical separation between the two City facilities; and

the perimeter and within the substation to acceptable levels during fault conditions; and
WHEREAS, solid station control facilities now commonly used at well sites could
be exposed to damaging potentials; and
WHEREAS, to ensure that a safe environment exists around and adjacent to the
substation facility, it is recommended that an analysis of the grounding system be
performed and corrective measures, if warranted, be designed and subsequently
implemented.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council does hereby
