HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 7, 1998 (102)a CITY OF LODI COUNCIL COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Contract for Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, 1998 MEETING DATE: October 7, 1998 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, 1998 contract, and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Graham Contractors, Inc. of Sacramento on August 19, 1998, in the amount of $51,597.90 for 921,391 square feet of application. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was September 3, 1998. The final contract price was $52,297.00. The difference between the contract amount and the final contract price was due to additional slurry seal work done.
