HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - October 7, 1998 (82)CITY OF LODI COUNCII, COMMUNICATION AGENDA TITLE: Acceptance of Improvements Under Contract for Lodi Lake Park Entrance Improvements, 1101 West Turner Road MEETING DATE: October 7, 1998 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council accept the improvements under the "Lodi Lake Park Entrance Improvements, 1101 West Turner Road" contract and direct the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the County Recorder's office. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The project was awarded to Uprite Construction, of Stockton, on June 3, 1998, in the amount of $68,724.85. The contract has been completed in substantial conformance with the plans and specifications approved by the City Council. The contract completion date was August 24, 1998, and the actual completion date was August 17, 1998. The final contract price was $72,731.21. The net increase of $4,120.53 was due to additional demolition, concrete and asphalt work.
