HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 88-89RESOLUTION NO. 88-89 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR UNDERGROUND TANK INSTALLATIONS, 230 WEST ELM STREET AND 1331 SOUTH HAM LANE WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on July 13, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Underground Tank Installations, 230 West Elm Street and 1331 South Ham Lane, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on May 18, 1988; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Town & Country Contractors R. W. Johnston & Son Delta Bay Builders Diede Construction Woodbridge Petroleum Engineering Location Bid Sacramento $157,234 Oakland $166,510 Antioch $166,945 $182,062 Santa Rosa $194,744 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for Underground Tank Installations as described above be made to the low bidder, Town and Country Contractors; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Underground Tank Installations as described above be and the same is hereby awarded to Town and Country Contractors, the low bidder, in the amount of $157,234; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that an additional amount of $104,000 be appropriated from the Capital Improvement Outlay Reserve to complete this phase of the project.
