AWARD - BID FOR RESPIRATORY BREATHING AIR COMPRESSOR
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with
law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and
publicly opened on May 24, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the bid for
Respiratory Breathing Air Compressor, described in the specifications
therefor approved by the City Council on April 20 1988; and
WHEREAS, the joint purchase of the system by Lodi and Woodbridge
Fire Protection District results in a 2/3 to 1/3 split of the purchase
price, wherein the split is based on projected use of the system and
results in the following costs to each entity, and which City funds
were budgeted in the 1987-88 budget:
City of Lodi $12,701.33
Woodbridge Fire Protection District $ 6,350.67
$19,052.00
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and
a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the
contract for Respiratory Breathing Air Compressor be made to the low
bidder, Bauer Compressors;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Lodi that award of contract for Respiratory Breathing Air Compressor
be and the same is hereby awarded to Bauer Compressors, the low
bidder, in the amount of $19,052.00

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 88-85 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular
meeting held July 6, 1988 by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Hinchman, Olson Snider and
Pinkerton (Mayor)
