HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 88-82RESOLUTION NO. 88-82 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR TYPE II SLURRY SEAL, VARIOUS CITY STREETS WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with, law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on June 29, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for TYPE II SLURRY SEAL, VARIOUS CITY STREETS, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on June 15, 1988; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: TOTAL CONTRACTOR LOCATION SQ.FT. TOTAL COST California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc. Sacramento, CA 730,180 $26,681.05 Graham Contractors, Inc. Valley Slurry Seal Co., Inc. Asphalt Maintenance Co. of California San Jose, CA 730,180 $28,477.02 Sacramento, CA 730,180 $34,285.46 Visalia, CA 730,180 $53,427.30 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets, be made to the low bidder, California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc.; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Type II Slurry Seal, Various City Streets be and the same is hereby awarded to California Pavement Maintenance Co., Inc., the low bidder, in the amount of $26,681.05 Dated: July 6, 1988 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 88-82 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held July 6, 1988 by the following vote: Ayes: Council Members - Hinchman, Olson, Snider and Pinkerton (Mayor) Noes: Council Members - None Absent: Council Members - Reid Alice M.
