RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING NEW ACCESS RIGHTS TO A PARCEL OF LAND
LOCATED AT 1721 SOUTH CHEROKEE LANE
WHEREAS, the City of Lodi is the successor in interest to the strip of land
in and to the access rights along and abutting Cherokee Lane within the City
Limits of the City of Lodi; and
WHEREAS, Darrel Fandrich is desirous of abandoning an existing access and
establishing one new driveway to the real property owned by him at 1721 South
Cherokee Lane having a frontage of 316 feet; and
WHEREAS, said request appears reasonable to the City Council of the City of
Lodi.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi as
follows:
1. The existing 40 -foot access at 1721 South Cherokee Lane is hereby abandoned.
2. A 35 -foot driveway located 158 feet south of the north property line is
hereby established.
3. This resolution is adopted on the express condition that Darrel Fandrich
shall be fully responsible for the cost of installing street improvements
to comply with the Cherokee Lane Beautification Plan as prepared by Paul
Tritenbach, Landscape Architect, dated November 8, 1966. Said beautification
plan required the installation of an automatic sprinkler system, the
planting and maintenance of turf, and the planting and future care of seven
Zelkova Serrata trees.
If any existing olive trees are to remain, the number of Zelkova Serrata
trees to be planted may be reduced by a like amount.
4. The cost of all of the improvements herein required, including curb, gutter
sidewalk, street paving, and the installation of the aforesaid landscaping,
shall be at the cost and expense of Darrel Fandrich.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 88-29 was passed and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held March 2, 1988, by the
following vote:
Ayes: Councilmembers - Hinchman, Pinkerton, Reid, Snider and Olson (Mayor)
Noes: Councilmembers - None
Absent: Councilmembers - None
