HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 88-26RESOLUTION NO. 88-26 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR INSTALLATION/UPGRADE OF KILLELEA SUBSTATION FENCE WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened by the City Clerk of this City on February 16, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for installation/upgrade of Killelea Substation Fence, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council January 20, 1988; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Amount Dura Fence $22,986.60 Economy Fence $14,057.30 Clark Whitaker Co. $27,767.86 Central Fence Co. $25,500.00 ' Pisor Fence $22,134.00 C & R Fence $18,846.00 All Counties Fence $24,616.80 Vince Welch Fence $23,409.00 Ramirez Fence $16,750.75 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award for the contract for installation/upgrade of Killelea Substation Fence, be made to the low bidder, Economy Fence Co. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for installation/upgrade of Killelea Substation Fence be and the same is hereby made to Economy Fence Co., the low bidder, in the amount of $14,957,30.
