A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE BID FOR THE PURCHASE OF
HIGH PRESSURE LUMINAIRES, AND APPROVING THE SALE OF OLD LUMINAIRES
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and
the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on
November 29, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the bid for 280 100 -watt high-pressure sodium
luminaires, 110 each 120 -volt and 170 each 240 -volt, described in the specifications
therefor approved by the City Council on November 16, 1988; and
WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a
report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows:

WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the bid for 280 luminaires
be made to the low bidder, Westinghouse Electric Supply Co.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that
award of bid for the above-described 280 luminaires be and the same is hereby
awarded to Westinghouse Electric Supply Co., the low bidder, in the amount of
$18,942.20.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the
advertisement and sale of the old mercury vapor luminaires that are being replaced by
the above-described luminaires.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 88-169 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held December 21, 1988 by the following vote:
