HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 88-151RESOLUTION NO. 88-151 AWARD - CONTRACT FOR SOFTBALL COMPLEX FENCE REPLACEMENT 401 NORTH STOCKTON STREET WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on October 19, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Softball Complex Fence Replacement, 401 North Stockton Street, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on October 5, 1988; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Weaver's Woven Wire Ramirez Fence Co. C & R Fence Contractors, Inc. Economy Fence Company All Counties Fence Co., Inc. Stockton Fence & Material Co. Clark -Whitaker Co., Inc. Pisor Fence Division, Inc. Dura Fence Company Location Bid Carmichael $29,836.00 Sacramento $35,568.40 Stockton $36,774.00 Stockton $37,044.56 Sacramento $38,293.80 Stockton $38,506.20 Sacramento $38,822.88 Citrus Heights $41,904.00 Sacramento $43,276.90 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for Softball Complex Fence Replacement, be made to the low bidder, Weaver's Woven Wire; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Softball Complex Fence Replacement be and the same is hereby awarded to Weaver's Woven Wire, the low bidder, in the amount of $29,836.00.
