HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 89-97RESOLUTION NO. 89-97 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PLAYGROUND EQUIPMENT FOR BLAKELY PARK WHEREAS, under the authority of Lodi Municipal Code §3.20.070, the Lodi City Council did at its April 6, 1988 City Council meeting authorize the Parks and Recreation Department to purchase playground equipment under the 1986 Parkland Act Grant program from a "sole source" supplier, Miracle Recreation Company; and WHEREAS, as part of a Blakely Park renovation of the play area, additional Miracle playground equipment is required; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Lodi City Council hereby approves the purchase of Miracle #162-SZBP "Lokville" Play System, 2 benches #1267 and 2 swings #162-854-15/#162-854-25 for Blakely Park play area rehabilitation which is partially funded with Community Block Grant funds in the amount of $26,415.92; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the expenditure of the additional funds required to purchase the playground equipment, in the amount of $2,329.56.
