HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 89-86RESOLUTION NO. 89-86 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL FOR APPLICATION TO THE SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY LOCAL AGENCY FORMATION COMMISSION IN THE MATTER OF THE PROPOSED WHITE SLOUGH WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT REORGANIZATION NO. 5 WHEREAS, this proposal is made pursuant to the Cortese -Knox Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985; and WHEREAS, the nature of the proposed change of organization is the annexation to the City of Lodi of an area comprising 270.4 acres more or less of noncontiguous City -owned territory located at 11839, 11889, and 12001 North Thornton Road (APN's 055-190-01 and 055-120-03 and 08), which is used for municipal purposes; and - WHEREAS, no other counties, cities or districts are affected, and WHEREAS, the subject area proposed to be annexed to the City of Lodi is uninhabited, and WHEREAS, no new districts are proposed to be formed by this organization; and WHEREAS, the reason for this proposal is as follows: 1) To allow City jurisdiction over noncontiguous City -owned property; NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED 8Y THE LODI CITY COUNCIL, that the San Joaquin County Local Agency Formation Commission is hereby requested to approve the proposed White Slough Water Pollution Control Plant Reorganization No. 5.
