HomeMy WebLinkAboutAgenda Report - March 19, 1997 (81)4<1FORC�; AGENDA TITLE: Final Map for Oaks Duplexes, Tract No. 2623 MEETING DATE: March 19, 1997 PREPARED BY: Public Works Director RECOMMENDED ACTION: That the City Council approve the final map for Oaks Duplexes, Tract No. 2623, and direct the City Engineer and City Clerk to execute the map on behalf of the City. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: John J. Vierra and Eleanor L. Vierra, as trustees of the Vierra Family Trust, the developers of this subdivision, have furnished the City with the required fees and obtained a building permit for the sanitary sewer upgrade work for the proposed subdivision. The subdivision is the former Oaks Condominium, located at 701 - 917 Wimbledon Drive, which contained twenty-two condominium units in eleven two -unit structures (duplexes). The new subdivision will contain eleven residential lots, as shown on Exhibit A, with each lot containing one of the existing two -unit structures. The conditions of approval of the tentative subdivision map included payment for water service upgrades to include meter boxes, payment for water meters, and installation of sanitary sewer service cleanouts conforming to City standards for each unit. The fees for the water service upgrades and water meters have been paid and the owners have obtained a building permit for the sanitary sewer service cleanout installations. Staff recommends the final map be approved subject to final inspection and approval of the sanitary sewer service cleanouts. FUNDING: Developer fees. Jack L.
