HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 90-40RESOLUTION NO. 90-40 --------------------- --------------------- A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR LODI LAKE PARK BEACH RESTROOM REMODEL 1301 WEST TURNER ROAD WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on February 21, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Lodi Lake Park Beach Restroom Remodel, 1301 West Turner Road, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on January 17, 1990; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Location Bid McDonald Glenn Company Manteca $79,931.00 Scrimsher & Mineni Construction Escalon $92,725.00 Channel Mechanical Stockton $94,596.00 Diede Construction Woodbridge $103,333.00 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for Lodi Lake Park Beach Restroom Remodel, be made to the low bidder, McDonald Glenn Company; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi that award of contract for Lodi Lake Park Beach Restroom Remodel be and the same is hereby awarded to McDonald Glenn Company, the low bidder, in the amount of $79,931.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby approves the appropriation of an additional $7,000 from the General Fund Capital Outlay Reserve to complete the project.
