HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 91-127RESOLUTION NO. 91-127 --------------------------- --------------------------- A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF CARPET FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT, STATION ONE, PUBLIC SAFETY BUILDING WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on June 18, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for the purchase of carpet for Fire Department, Station One, 210 West Elm Street, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on May 1, 1991; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Pinnell's Floor Covering Harold W. Thompson Walter's Carpet Contract Interiors Location Bid Lodi $ 9,959.06 Stockton $ 9,532.94 Lodi $ 9,068.55 Lodi $ 8,616.07 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for carpet for Fire Station One, be made to the low bidder, Contract Interiors of Lodi; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that award of contract for carpet for Fire Station One be and the same is hereby awarded to Contract Interiors of Lodi, the low bidder, in the amount of $8616.07.
