HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 91-61RESOLUTION NO. 91-61 ------------------------- ------------------------- A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL APPROVING PARKING LIMIT MODIFICATIONS AT DOWNTOWN PARKING LOT 1, THEREBY AMENDING TRAFFIC RESOLUTION NO. 87-163 BE IT RESOLVED, that the Lodi City Council does hereby approve modifications to the public parking limits in Downtown Parking Lot 1, located at the northeast corner of Church and Walnut Streets as follows: The western most two-hour parking row is changed to two-hour or all -day parking with a Zone B Permit, as shown on Exhibit A attached hereto. and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Lodi City Council hereby approves the replacement of signs at the entrances to the Zone B permit parking stalls off of Pine Street, off of Walnut Street, and in the alley between Oak Street and Walnut Street with signs reading "Permit Parking Only", as recommended by the Lodi Downtown Business Association; and FURTHER RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that City of Lodi Traffic Resolution 87-163 is hereby amended as follows: Section 5 "Parking Lots", subsection B.1. is hereby modified to read as follows: B. The following lots or portions of lots are hereby established as public parking for the maximum time indicated between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. except Sundays and holidays: 1. Two Hours Lot 1 - the east parking row ..." and FURTHER RESOLVED, that a new subsection "D" is added to Section 5, to read as follows: "D. The following portions of lots are hereby established as two-hour parking or all -day permit parking between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. except Sundays and holidays. Permit issuance and usage shall be in accordance with the requirements of Section 6, "Permit Parking Zone B", of this resolution. "Lot 1 - the third parking row east of Church Street" and; Resolution 91-61 March 20, 1991 Page Two BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Section 6 - Permit Parking - subsection A - Zone B - Downtown Area is amended to include new Section 5.D as follows: ... Vehicles displaying valid Zone B permits are exempt from the street parking restrictions described in Section 3.A.3. of this Resolution and may park in the permit parking lots described in Sections 5.C. and 5.D. of this Resolution."
