Maintenance Worker II - This is the journey level in the mainten.:::ce ciass
series. Positions in this class are fully trained in a variety )_ -asKs in
the Streets of Mater/Wastewater Divisions. This class is distincuished from
the Maintenance Worker I level by the greater extent of technical knowledge;
also, the II level occasionally is required to lead a field crew. The II
level is distinguished from the III level in that III's regularly are
expected to lead field crews and assist Supervisors with administrative
tasks. Under the flexible staffing system, positions in this class normally
are filled from the I level.
