A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING
THE CONTRACT FOR ASPHALT MATERIALS FOR
THIRD AND FOURTH QUARTERS OF FISCAL YEAR 1990-91
WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and
the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on
January 2, 1991 at 11:00 a.m. for the contract for Asphalt Materials for the third
and fourth quarters of fiscal year 1990-91, described in the specifications
therefor approved by the City Council on December 19, 1990; and
WHEREAS, three bids were received and said bids have been compared,
checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as shown on
Exhibit A attached hereto; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the contract for the
above-described asphalt materials, Items 1A, 1B, 1C, 2A, and 2C be made to Granite
Construction, Stockton, and Item 2B be made to Claude C. Wood Company;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lodi
that award of contract for asphalt materials for third and fourth quarters of fiscal
year 1990-91 be and the same is hereby awarded to Granite Construction for Items 1A,
1B, 1C, 2A, and 2C, and Item 28 is awarded to Claude C. Wood Company as shown on
Exhibit A attached hereto.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 91-8 was passed and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held January 16, 1991 by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Pennino, Pinkerton, Sieglock, Snider and
Hinchman (Mayor)
Noes: Council Members - None
Absent: Council Members - None
