HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 91-03t RESOLUTION NO. 91-3 A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL AWARDING THE BID FOR ZUPO FIELD BACKSTOP AND FENCING, 350 NORTH WASHINGTON STREET AND APPROVING A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FOR THE PROJECT WHEREAS, in answer to notice duly published in accordance with law and the order of this City Council, sealed bids were received and publicly opened on November 14, 1990 at 11:00 a.m. for the bid for Zupo Field Backstop and Fencing, 350 North Washington Street, described in the specifications therefor approved by the City Council on October 17, 1990; and WHEREAS, said bids have been compared, checked, and tabulated and a report thereof filed with the City Manager as follows: Bidder Amount Scrimsher and Mineni, Modesto $ 35,921.39 West Coast Fence Co., San Jose $ 39,807.00 Economy Fence Co., Stockton $ 53,314.52 WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that award of the bid for Zupo Field backstop and fencing be made to the low bidder, Scrimsher and Mineni; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Lodi City Council that award of bid for Zupo Field backstop and fencing be and the same is hereby awarded to Schrimsher and Mineni, the low bidder, in the amount of $35,921.39; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the Lodi City Council hereby approves a transfer of $20,000 of fuel tank replacement funds to proceed with the project.
