A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL
ORDERING THE TOWNE RANCH REORGANIZATION (LAFC 24-91) WITHOUT
NOTICE AND HEARING, INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND
DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT, THE WOODBRIDGE IRRIGATION
DISTRICT, THE WOODBRIDGE WATER USER CONSERVATION DISTRICT, AND THE SJC
RESOURCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT.
IN THE MATTER OF THE TOWN RANCH
REORGANIZATION (LAFC 24-91) INCLUDING
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND
DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE
FIRE DISTRICT, THE WOODBRIDGE IRRIGATION
DISTRICT, THE WOODBRIDGE WATER USER
CONSERVATION DISTRICT, AND THE SJC
RESOURCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT.
RESOLUTION MAKING
DETERMINATIONS AND
ORDERING REORGANIZATION
WITHOUT NOTICE AND
HEARING
Section 1. RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI that it
determines:
a) Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of certain
described territory to the City of Lodi and detachment from the
Woodbridge Fire District, the Woodbridge Irrigation District, the
Woodbridge Water User Conservation District, and the SJC Resource
Conservation District were initiated by the filing of the City of
Lodi's Resolution No. 91-207 with the Local Agency Formation
Commission in the County of San Joaquin, proposing annexation of
approximately 81.29 acres of property, pursuant to the
requirements of the Local Government Reorganization Act.
b) Thereafter, appropriate proceedings were conducted by said
Local Agency Formation Commission, and said Commission on January
17, 1992 adopted Resolution 845 approving the proposed
annexation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth within
the subject resolution.
c) Resolution No. 845 of the Local Agency Formation Commission
approving the proposed annexation also authorized the City of
Lodi to complete proceedings for uninhabited reorganization
without notice and hearing as the designated conducting agency in
accordance with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code.

Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, BY THE LODI CITY COUNCIL:
a) That the proposal for annexation is ORDERED in accordance
with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code of the State
of California, to wit:
1. Towne Ranch (contiguous) annexation to the City of
Lodi.
2. Detachment of Towne Ranch from the Woodbridge Fire
District, the Woodbridge Irrigation District, the
Woodbridge Water User Conservation District, and
the SJC Resource Conservation District.
3. A description of said territory is attached hereto
(Exhibit A) and made a part hereof, as though set
out in full.

I hereby certify that Resolution No. 92-17 was passed and
adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting
held February 5, 1992 by the following vote:
Ayes: Council Members - Hinchman, Pennino, Sieglock, Snider
and Pinkerton (Mayor)

A portion of the Northwest quarter of Section 3, Township 3
North, Range 6 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more
particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of said northwest quarter
of Section 3; thence North 0002145" West along the west line of
said northwest quarter, being along the Lodi City Limit line,
1643.79 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing
along said City Limit line the following nine (9) courses: (1)
South 88031100" Fast, 641.14 feet, (2) South 88046100" East,
158.00 feet, (3) South 0°02'00" West, 230.00 feet, (4) South
86058100" East, 1321.00 feet, (5) North 1022100" East, 108.00
feet, (6) East, 483.83 meet to the west line of 80 foot wide
Lower Sacramento Road, (7) North, along said west line, 919.98
feet, (8) North 89040100" West, 725.00 feet, and (9) North, 660.00
feet to the north line of 60 foot wide Turner Road; thence
leaving said Lodi City Limit line North 89040'00" West along said
north line of Turner Road, 1558.78 feet to intersection with the
easterly right of way line of the Woodbridge Irrigation District
canal; thence along said easterly line the following three (3)
courses: (1) South 42°28107" West, 80.91 feet to intersection
with the south line of said Turner Road, (2) South 2404'00"
West, 97.00 feet, and (3) South 66°04100" West, 248.67 feet to
aforesaid west line of the northwest quarter of Section 3; thence
South 0002'45" East along said west line, 1132.21 feet to the
true point of beginning.
Containing 81.29 acres, more or less.
