HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 92-15RESOLUTION NO. 92-15 ----------------------- ----------------------- A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL ORDERING THE JOHNSON RANCH II REORGANIZATION (LAFC 23-91) WITHOUT NOTICE AND HEARING, INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT AND THE SJC RESOURCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT. IN THE MATTER OF THE JOHNSON RANCH II ) RESOLUTION MAKING REORGANIZATION (LAFC 23-91) INCLUDING ) DETERMINATIONS AND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND ) ORDERING REORGANIZATION DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE } WITHOUT NOTICE AND FIRE DISTRICT AND THE SJC RESOURCE ) HEARING CONSERVATION DISTRICT. ) Section 1. RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI that it determines: a) Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of certain described territory to the City of Lodi and detachment from the Woodbridge Fire District and the SJC Resource Conservation District were initiated by the filing of the City of Lodi's Resolution No. 91-209 with the Local Agency Formation Commission in the County of San Joaquin, proposing annexation of approximately 36 acres of property, pursuant to the requirements of the Local Government Reorganization Act. b) Thereafter, appropriate proceedings were conducted by said Local Agency Formation Commission, and said Commission on January 17, 1992 adopted Resolution 843 approving the proposed annexation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth within the subject resolution. c) Resolution No. 843 of the Local Agency Formation Commission approving the proposed annexation also authorized the City of Lodi to complete proceedings for uninhabited reorganization without notice and hearing as the designated conducting agency in accordance with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code. se Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, BY THE LODI CITY COUNCIL: a) That the proposal for annexation is ORDERED in accordance with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code of the State of California, to wit: 1. Johnson Ranch II (contiguous) annexation to the City of Lodi. 2. Detachment of Johnson Ranch II from the Woodbridge Fire District and the SJC Resource Conservation District. 3. A description of said territory is attached hereto (Exhibit A) and made a part hereof, as though set out in full. Dated: February 5, 1992 I hereby certify that Resolution No. 92-15 was passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Lodi in a regular meeting held February 5, 1992 by the following vote: Ayes: Council Members - Hinchman, Pennino, Sieglock, Snider and Pinkerton (Mayor) Noes: Council Members - None Absent: Council Members - None Alice M. Reimche City Clerk J 92-15 RES9215/TXTA.02J -2- C EXHIBIT A December 19, 1991 JOHNSON RANCH I.I ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI San Joaquin County, California A portion of the Southeast quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, and a portion of the Southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 7 Fast, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the northwest corner of that certain 10.00 acre parcel shown on Record of Survey, filed in Book of Surveys, Volume 28, page 184, San Joaquin County Records, said corner being a point on the Lodi City Limit line, bearing South 0041'12" East, 528.00 feet and South 86056100" West, 1650.00 feet from the northeast corner of said Southeast quarter of Section 13; thence leaving said City Limit .line, South 0040'35" .East along the west line of said 10.00 acre parcel and along the west line of the 9.72 acre parcel shown on said Record of Survey, 832.16 feet to the southwest corner of said 9.72 acre parcel; thence North 87°22'20" East along the south line of said 9.72 acre parcel and its easterly production, 1650.00 feet to the east line of said Southeast quarter of Section 13; thence continue North 8722'20" East, 125 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of State Highway No. 99; thence northerly along said easterly line, 925 feet, more or less, to intersection with said City Limit line; thence along said City Limit line the following two (2) courses: (1) westerly, 475 feet, more or less, to said east line of Southeast quarter of Section 13, and (2) South 86°56'00" West, 1650.00 feet to the point of beginning.
