HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolutions - No. 93-129RESOLUTION NO. 93-129 ---------------------- ---------------------- A RESOLUTION OF THE LODI CITY COUNCIL ORDERING THE RICHARDS RANCH REORGANIZATION (LAFC 15-93) WITHOUT NOTICE AND HEARING, INCLUDING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT AND THE SJC RESOURCE CONSERVATION DISTRICT. IN THE MATTER OF THE RICHARDS RANCH ) RESOLUTION MAKING REORGANIZATION (LAFC 15-93) INCLUDING ) DETERMINATIONS AND ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI, AND } ORDERING REORGANIZATION DETACHMENT FROM THE WOODBRIDGE FIRE } WITHOUT NOTICE AND DISTRICT AND THE SJC RESOURCE ) HEARING CONSERVATION DISTRICT ) Section 1. RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LODI that it determines: a) Preliminary proceedings for the annexation of certain described territory to the City of Lodi and detachment from the Woodbridge Fire District and the SJC Resource Conservation District were initiated by the filing of the City of Lodi's Resolution No. 93-94 with the Local Agency Formation Commission in the County of San Joaquin, proposing annexation of approximately 45 acres of property located at 13737 and 13845 North Cherokee Lane (APN's 062-290-18 and 062-290-07) and 2250 North Stockton Street (APN 062-290-08), pursuant to the requirements of the Local Government Reorganization Act. b) Thereafter, appropriate proceedings were conducted by said Local Agency Formation Commission, and said Commission on September 24, 1993 adopted Resolution 890 approving the proposed annexation, subject to the terms and conditions set forth within the subject resolution. c) Resolution No. 890 of the Local Agency Formation Commission approving the proposed annexation also authorized the City of Lodi to complete proceedings for uninhabited reorganization without notice and hearing as the designated conducting agency in accordance with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code. -1- Section 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, BY THE LODI CITY COUNCIL: a) That the proposal for annexation is ORDERED in accordance with Section 57002(c) of the Government Code of the State of California, to wit: 1. Richards Ranch (contiguous) annexation to the City of Lodi. 2. Detachment of Richards Ranch from the Woodbridge Fire District and the SJC Resource Conservation District. 3. A description of said territory is attached hereto (Exhibit A) and made a part hereof, as though set out in full. Section 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the affected territory shall remain within the countywide boundary of County Service 53, Household Hazardous Waste Management. Perr City Clerk 93-129 RES93129/TXTA.02J -2- EXHIBIT September 3, 1993 RICHARDS RANCH ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF LODI San Joaquin County, California A portion of the southeast quarter of Section 13, Township 3 North, Range 6 East, and a portion of the southwest quarter of Section 18, Township 3 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the east line of Stockton Street, said point bears South 00041130" East, 1085.00 feet and North 87022120" East, 20.01 feet from the center of said Section 13, said point also being on the Lodi City Limit line; thence South 00041130" East along the east line of Stockton Street, being along said City Limit line, 792 feet to the southwest corner of that certain tract of land conveyed to Charles M. Beckman et al, by deed recorded as Instrument No. 87024488, Official Records of San Joaquin County; thence leaving said City Limit line, North 87022120" East along the south line of said Beckman land and its easterly production, 994.25 feet to the west line of the 14.95 acre parcel shown.on Record of Survey, filed in Book 31 of Surveys at page 1, San Joaquin County Records; thence along the boundary of said 14.95 acre parcel the following four (4) courses: (1) South 00040'50" East, 263.84 feet, (2) North 87022120" East, 659.95 feet, (3) North 00040150" West, 182.13 feet and (4) North 87022120" East, 832.77 feet to the west line of Cherokee Lane; thence continue North 87°22'20" East, 270 feet, more or less, to the easterly line of State Highway No. 99; thence northerly along said easterly line, 600 feet, more or less, to intersection with said City Limit line; thence along said City Limit line the following six (6) courses: (1) westerly, 215 feet, more or less, to the west line of Cherokee Lane; (2) continue westerly, 1560.66 feet, (3) North 001140'50" west, 271.5 feet, (4) South 87022'20" West, 495.0 feet, (5) South 00040150" East, 4.18 feet, and (6) South 87022120" West, 499.34 feet to the point of beginning.
